download rob’s memorial playlist & videos
this past saturday—as noted in the previous post—we celebrated the life of our friend rob toon. it was honestly a great time, with laughter, tears and a whole gambit of emotions in between. i had the honor of participating in a number of ways, including sharing a few words about who rob was and the legacy he leaves. one of the things i was most excited to do, actually, was to put together a playlist that played before and after the service.
one of rob’s most deeply moving and connective forces in his life was music, so the playlist wasn’t just something to fill the quiet, but something that told the story of rob. so, i didn’t want to screw it up. 🙂
many people requested a copy of the playlist and you can get it here. it consists of 50 tracks (including 2 at the end that are actually instrumental recordings of rob’s original music), so i’ve split it into 2 discs.

here’s the track listing:
in addition to the playlist, some people have also requested a couple videos that rob and i shot over the last 5 or 6 years. by no means did rob and i claim to be scorsese when putting these together (and they’re pretty bad quality due to size limitation with my hosting), but they were a lot of fun to make. one of my favorite memories with rob will always be running around the beach at seaside, florida with a camera and a mullet wig. it was about 1000x times funnier in real life than what the video even shows.
so, enjoy.
